  History
Dynamic Air Engineering, incorporated in 1942 in Los Angeles, CA by Harry Glascock, developed what is believed to be the first fan-forced airborne convection heater for the Army Air Corps in 1942. From these beginnings, Harry’s company established a reputation unsurpassed in providing custom, high reliability solutions. In 1964, the company moved from Los Angeles to where it remains today in Orange County, CA.

When Harry Glascock died, his wife Nancy, assumed control of the company full time until 1990. In 1972, her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Hugh Morrison joined the company, running it side-by-side with Nancy until her retirement in 1990. Jeremy Morrison joined the company in 1997 and is now our President, running the company alongside Sharon who is our CEO.

Dynamic-Air Engineering is a manufacturer of Military and FAA qualified scalable custom air moving systems for the commercial aerospace and defense markets. Over the years, Dynamic Air Engineering became DAE Systems, adding and added several divisions with specialized product and services.

MilMotion joined DAE in 1976. MilMotion designs and builds MIL and FAA qualified custom motion components and systems for the defense, medical, and resource exploration markets as well as other demanding applications.

In 2001 DAE purchased Ripley, an off-the-shelf catalog company providing industrial grade blowers, electric motors, and air filters for industrial processes, heavy equipment, commercial aviation and general-purpose applications.

In 2004, AMPrecise was added to the DAE family providing build to print machining service that fabricates precision metal components for any market requiring precise tolerances, as well as offering subassembly services to their customers.

Finally, Mil3PL, a Third Party Logistics Service grew out of DAE’s existing FAA related business serving both defense and commercial markets.

For 65 years DAE has served and helped define the defense, aerospace, and now commercial industries in Southern California. Contact DAE for additional information or a quote. We look forward to hearing from you.
